The Faculty of Catholic Theology at Ruhr-University Bochum invites applications for the position of a Professor (tenure) for Dogmatics and History of Dogma (Salary Scale W3) to start on 1st of April 2021.
The candidate is expected to establish a sustainable research program, be capable to produce and publish original research, be an effective teacher and mentor of both undergraduate and graduate students, and engage in institutional and professional service. We are looking for a scholar with an internationally visible research profile that complements the existing research expertise of the faculty, a contextual theology, and that shows interdisciplinary interests to religion-related scholarship and the social and cultural sciences.
