Vortrag in Berlin: Koloniale Strukturen und Konflikte im Kongo – Am 18. Februar 2026 spricht Daniel E.D. Müller im Rahmen der Tagung „Conflicts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo: Effects, possible solutions and the role of the Federal Republic of Germany“ in Berlin. Auf Einladung des Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) und des German Institute for Global and Area Studies (GIGA) widmet er sich in seinem Beitrag der „History of the Democratic Republic of Congo and long-term effects of colonial structures“. Der Vortrag analysiert, wie historische Pfadabhängigkeiten, christliche Ideen und das Erbe der Kolonialzeit die aktuellen Konfliktlinien in der Region bis heute prägen.
